Wall of Straw Bales

In the field across the road from me, after harvesting the wheat in the fall, the farmers raked the stems into rows and used the baler to make straw bales. After a few weeks the farmers moved the bales and stacked them in the field across the creek to create a wall as a wind barrier in place of a snow fence. Isn't it just so tempting to want to climb and sit on top of the wall?

During the holidays I started a jigsaw puzzle that I purchased a few years ago. The puzzle box has been sitting unopened for close to a decade. I bought it as a novelty item as the word's largest puzzle. 18,000 pieces. It is the Ravensburger 'At The Waterhole' by artist David Penfound. Since then Ravensburger has created a Disney puzzle with 40,320 pieces. I have a wall at my new house where I can mount the completed puzzle so I decided it was a good winter project to start. I discovered I become quite obsessed with doing the puzzle therefore I aim to only do one quarter of it this year. The puzzle comes in four bags. One quad of the puzzle is in each bag. The finished puzzle will be 6'-3" x 9'-0".
