New Neighbours

Just before winter set in, I found out that I have new neighbours --- on a piece of land with no house right now. These adventurous souls are spending the winter in a motor home (fifth wheel).  They put up a very large coverall shelter to park their motorhome, tractor and excavator inside and who knows what else is in there! You have to look closely at the photo to see the white structure on the hilltop. They drilled a well before the heavy snow came (400 feet) and last I heard were waiting for hydro to be hooked up. For the time being they rely on a generator, which of course needs to be maintained and fueled.  These folks rolled in from Alberta and will build a house in the spring at the top of the hill overlooking my place. I've checked in on them when we had really cold temperatures - the coldest was -43C. Hmmm.... does that mean our township population surpasses 80 now?  Although maybe not as I know of at least one person who has moved out to long term care and anoth...
