A Living Room Concert

I went to my first living room concert - the concept of having a musician perform for a small group in someone's home.  The artist was Canadian Corin Raymond and he performed a set from his Bookmark series: storytelling and music combined, while his faithful dog Reese lay at his feet.

This was my first social outting since breaking my ankle in July and it dawned on me that most days around here I don't even see another person. Sure cars and tractors drive by and I know someone is driving the vehicle but I don't see or talk with them. I think Covid showed us that most people don't thrive in a more isolated environment but I I'm just fine with it; my only wish is that I could physically do more things during this time. It struck me as interesting and I think I appreciate socializing a bit more than I used to when it was an everyday occurrence and I took it for granted. Everyone needs to find their own groove I guess.

Here's my pumpkin I carved for Hallowe'en.
