Settling In

 

My small flock of chickens is adjusting to their new home.  They are older and not laying many eggs anymore but they remain as part of the flock until they die.  Gem and Blue are Ameraucana chickens which are blue egg layers; The other three are ISA Babcock named Thelma, Peaches and Goldie.  I hope to add more to my flock in the spring and replace my rooster Oscar who died last year of old age. I still miss hearing his morning crow and will welcome the sound again in the spring.
